Established in 2019 to coordinate, monitor and support Uganda's national SDG implementation.
Our Mandate
The SDG Secretariat operates under the Office of the Prime Minister to provide technical leadership, coordination and monitoring for Uganda's implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Our work spans policy alignment, data management, stakeholder engagement and international reporting.
Facilitating cross-government coordination of SDG implementation through technical working groups and sector alignment.
Tracking progress on 135+ indicators, producing annual reports and preparing Voluntary National Reviews for the HLPF.
Engaging development partners, civil society, the private sector and academia in SDG implementation.
Serving as the centralised national information and data hub on SDGs, enabling evidence-based decision-making.
